Affiliate Juice Podcast #16 – HometownQuotes and Matt McWilliams

by joe on March 25, 2011

We finally wrangled an interview with the elusive Matt McWilliams, Affiliate Manager for HometownQuotes.com. Matt is the 2010 Pinnacle Awards Affiliate Manager of the Year and the 2009 ABestWeb Affiliate Manager of the Year. Joe and I had a nice long conversation with Matt about his history with the company and what his plans are now that he’s back with HometownQuotes. For those of you that do not know, Matt had been with Legacy Learning for about the last two years cementing his legend status in the industry.

Because of Matt’s stellar reputation as an in-house manager, his programs have the “Juice”. He has two programs, one in-house and one in ShareASale. He has more flexibility in payout with the in-house program but will be experimenting with the ShareASale program once he gets through the next few months – His wife is expecting their first child in 7 DAYS!

HometownQuotes.com pays $7 per lead in ShareASale with a lifetime cookie. Here is the program description:

FREE Insurance Quotes – Pay Per Lead
Over 8 million people every month shop online for insurance. At HometownQuotes, we offer consumers the ability to compare quotes from up to 5 companies that are best matched to their needs.

You can’t beat our payouts
Every time a customer clicks through to our web site and completes a lead application (typically 3-6 minutes), you get paid!

Unparalleled Service
Along the way, we will always be available to help you in your path to success and work with you to grow your leads and your commissions.
